GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimization. This means that content is structured in such a way that generative response systems such as AI search engines, assistants, and LLM-based applications can better capture, classify, and cite company information.
GEO doesn't replace SEO. GEO expands SEO by adding an extra perspective: It's not just the classic search results page that counts, but also the answer that an AI system generates from various sources. For such an answer to accurately reflect your business, the website needs unambiguous entities, consistent data, precise service descriptions, and trustworthy content.
A practical example: If a South Tyrolean trades business explains "bathroom renovation Bolzano" in German, but only has a general company page without local service details in Italian, a system will have difficulty understanding the Italian relevance. Therefore, a multilingual website must not simply be translated. It must be strategically structured for each language.

A solid website foundation isn't built through a hectic, last-minute relaunch. For many SMEs, a 90-day roadmap works very well because it allows enough time for strategy, content, technology, and a smooth launch without endlessly prolonging the project.
Phase 1: Analysis and positioning, days 1 to 15
